Almost there....

Some of you may know from my email that my flight from SFO to Frankfurt was delayed slightly by mechanical difficulties and I missed my connection to Bucharest. So I spent an extra 6 hours at my not so favorite Frankfurt aiport (although at least I had a meal voucher).  Long story short I arrived at the hotel near the train station in Bucharest about 1 am. Thank goodness I have been here before and knew where to go!  So aftter a good night's sleep and breakast I walked over to the train station and bought my ticket to leave here at noon for Barlad arriving there at 4:48 pm. I called Dan yesterday from Frankfurt to tell him my plans and he will meet me at the train station in Barlad and drive me to Tutova. So I'm missing orientation today, not that I need it but I don't get to meet all my team mates until later today - except for Rosie from New Zealand who I already know. And I do feel like I know a few others after corresponding via email prior to the trip.  I'm looking forward to meeting them especially Caroline who was supposed to be on the team with Mary Beth and I in October but had to cancel. For some reason, I can't get into yahoo at the hotel so I figured I'd post here so hopefully family and friends will know I'm not lost in transit.  During my frustraton yesterday I just pictured Alina with her smiling face and her arms raised and knew it was worth it! Babies, I'm on my way! Oh, and yes, there is pharmacy by the train station so I already bought some baby food!
